We’re looking for an experienced BMS Engineer who enjoys a bit of everything, from getting stuck into a tricky fault to commissioning a new system. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical variety, combining servicing, fault-finding, commissioning, and system optimisation across a range of commercial buildings throughout London.
Role Overview
You’ll be working across different BMS platforms and building environments, with plenty of opportunities to put your technical knowledge to use, tackle different challenges and keep developing your skills. If you enjoy being hands-on, solving problems and having a good mix of work throughout your week, this could be right up your street.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out PPMs and servicing of BMS installations.
- Fault-finding, diagnosing and resolving technical issues across different BMS systems.
- Commissioning new controllers, equipment and system upgrades.
- Working across a variety of BMS manufacturers and control platforms.
- Identifying opportunities to improve system performance and energy efficiency.
- Supporting remedial works, modifications and small upgrades.
- Working independently across commercial sites throughout London.
- Building good relationships with clients and ensuring their systems are operating as intended.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in BMS service, commissioning or a combination of both.
- Strong technical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Distech, Schneider or similar.
- A good understanding of HVAC controls and building services.
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of technical work.
- A practical, hands-on approach to engineering.
- Experience across multiple BMS platforms would be particularly beneficial.
