Role Overview
Many good PMs are stuck delivering the same leisure centres, schools and hospitals year after year. This role offers something different: harder projects, the latest liquid cooling technology, interesting places to work and the backing of a brand everyone knows. You’ll take technical ownership of BMS and controls packages across complex, fast-paced data centre environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead delivery of BMS and controls packages on intricate data centre projects.
Create and manage project programmes, run progress meetings, and produce weekly reports.
Collaborate with the Design Manager on technical submissions and system architecture.
Oversee labour, subcontractors, and site teams, ensuring accurate resource forecasts.
Engage confidently with clients and contractors across mechanical, electrical, and cooling disciplines.
Ensure compliance with H&S, CDM, quality, and handover documentation.
The Ideal Candidate
A technical PM with a background in BMS engineering, design or commissioning, with a strong understanding of HVAC, chillers and wider mechanical/electrical systems.
Experience in data centres is beneficial but not essential; strong BMS PMs from other sectors are encouraged to apply.
Comfortable with hands-on roles and quick decision-making.
Open to travel into Europe and the Nordics.
Experienced project engineers ready to advance are encouraged to apply.
What's on Offer
Salary from £80,000 to £90,000 depending on experience.
Home based with regular travel to site.
Company car and car allowance.
1.5x salary for every day you work on secondment abroad, paid in that month's salary rather than an end of project bonus that never arrives.
