VIGO invites exceptional individuals to apply for the role of M&E Project Delivery Manager for National Accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to join a trailblazing team within an industry leader focused on delivering energy-efficient solutions, with particular emphasis on the Public Sector and Commercial Retail & Leisure market.
This is an integral role where you will lead multiple energy optimisation projects, set strategic priorities, and foster a high-performing team that aims for superior safety standards and customer satisfaction.
Role Overview
Your primary mission is to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of decarbonisation strategies such as Solar PV installations, Heat Pump systems, LED lighting upgrades, and associated electrical infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee project management from feasibility and design stages through to commissioning and handover
Manage M&E engineering, construction, and commissioning activities across multiple projects
Liaise with stakeholders including UKPN, DNOs, and local authorities to secure consents, connections, and approvals
Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance across all activities
Develop, mentor, and lead team members to achieve high performance standards
Provide regular project performance updates to senior management and key stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate
Proven senior management experience within M&E, Building Services, or Renewable Energy project delivery
Strong technical competence in Solar PV systems, Heat Pumps, LED lighting, and electrical distribution infrastructure
Familiarity with UKPN and DNO connection processes, planning requirements, and UK regulatory standards
Demonstrable experience delivering complex, multi-site projects
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Commercially astute with experience in P&L management, revenue forecasting, and contract administration
