We’re hiring for an exciting and crucial Business Development Manager - Service (BEMS) position, focusing on service contracts, upgrade work, and small project opportunities in the Northern region. As a Business Development Manager, you will strive to exceed targets and establish sustainable relationships within the FM and end-user markets.
Role Overview
As our Business Development Manager, you will be dedicated to cultivating new customer relationships for the business, aiming to meet an initial annual service-related order intake of at least £600,000. Over a 36-month period, this expectation will rise to £1.2 million. Your geographical remit will focus on the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire region, where you will leverage your knowledge and company products to win business.
Key Responsibilities
Targeting new opportunities from FM providers and end users
Promotion and selling of the Brand
Preparing quotations with values up to £500k
Delivering monthly reports of sales activity and order forecasts
Ensuring the continual delivery of outstanding customer service
Forging long-term relationships with key contacts and decision makers
The Ideal Candidate
Holds a minimum Level 4 Qualification in a role-related subject
Has an excellent existing footprint with FM contractor and end users in the region
An understanding of building management systems and associated software
Demonstrates commercial awareness and attention to detail
Exercises self-motivation, responsibility, and organisational skills
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and in-house Management database & Financial systems
