Role Overview

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in aiding the internal sales estimator in various valuable tasks. These include creating points lists and estimates, assisting in sub-contract pricing and quote updates, and vetting enquiries. This role has been designed with development in mind. As you gain valuable knowledge of our systems and services, you will become even more adept in sales, fostering strong relationships with clients and helping drive regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in targeting consultants, contractors and end users to secure BMS projects/energy orders
Promote and sell the Eon Controls brand
Assist in developing and nurturing relationships through technical presentations
Create small T&M quotes with guidance (ranging from £50 to £10K)
Assist in preparing technical enquiry documents
Assist in providing regular update reports and briefings to managers
Help generate sales leads
Deliver outstanding customer service
Consistently enhance your business performance

The Ideal Candidate

Has experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
Understands our business, the sales role, and our region
Has excellent attention to detail
Possesses excellent time management and organisational skills
Is self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
Demonstrates excellent customer relations
Understands the importance of health & safety in the workplace
