Role Overview
As a BEMS Installation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining advanced building management systems while ensuring a safe, compliant working environment. You’ll also provide guidance to junior staff, supporting their development and contributing to the growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Execute detailed electrical installations according to precise technical diagrams and specifications
Conduct complete Electrical Inspection and Testing
Ensure installations meet industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality procedures
Lead routine maintenance while swiftly diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
Provide mentorship and technical support to electricians and apprentices within the team
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
The Ideal Candidate
2 plus years of experience as an Installation or Maintenance Electrician
Experience with BEMS, lighting control systems, or security systems is desirable
Recognised qualifications as an Approved Electrician such as City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Demonstrated competence in Electrical Inspection and Testing
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
Strong troubleshooting skills with a commitment to quality workmanship
Holds a full UK driving licence
