VIGO is working with a cutting-edge organisation operating primarily in data centres and pharmaceutical vertical markets. Their agile, fast-paced Special Projects division not only supports these sectors but also delivers major EU projects that may fall outside these areas. We are supporting their search for a seasoned BMS Project Manager to join their Special Projects team, delivering data centre projects across the UK and Europe.
Role Overview
The BMS Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering all Special Project works professionally, on time, and within budget while adhering to health & safety policy. This role demands strong customer service skills, internal stakeholder management, project lifecycle administration, and the ability to travel throughout Europe, tailored to meet both individual and business needs. Key Responsibilities
Manage and assist in project cost management
Allocate project-specific disbursements
Ensure adherence to company ISO, H&S, and CDM procedures & policies
Produce relevant compliance documentation
Attend site progress and project review meetings
Submit project variations and interim applications for payment
Maintain project files in line with quality management procedures
Coordinate technical/commercial aspects with estimating/sales team
Create & manage a project timetable of works
Communicate regularly with customers to ensure satisfaction
Manage import and export of project-specific goods to site
Liaise with Design Manager regarding control panel drawings, QA documentation, system architecture, and overall BMS design responsibilities
