VIGO is recruiting a BMS Project Manager for a Kent-based business that is breaking boundaries in the BMS & Energy Sector. This is a high-responsibility role which will involve overseeing projects from conception to completion, focused largely on fast-paced, fast-track projects. The business is known leading the way in the retail and medical sectors within the BMS and Energy space.
Role Overview
As a BMS Project Manager, you will be handling multiple projects at any given time. The role involves project management, scheduling, commercial control and maintaining quality and safety across concurrent projects. Based at the company’s Kent office, you will also travel to client sites throughout the UK to ensure optimal delivery and stakeholder management. Some out-of-hours coordination may be required to manage access constraints and business-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Fast Track Delivery & Coordination
Plan and deliver multiple concurrent projects from order to completion
Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and access to achieve fast turnaround
Produce consistent job packs
Manage costs, margins, and procurement aligned to agreed scope and estimates
Client Management & Communication
Ensure the quality of work meets the company’s standards and client's requirements
Follow and enforce the adherence of RAMS, permits, and site compliance requirements for every job
Quality Safety & Documentation
Capture project variations and scope changes promptly to ensure commercial recovery
Support pricing and repeatable delivery protocols to improve predictability
Health & Safety Management
Prepare project-specific method statements and risk assessments to assure optimal safety and efficiency
The Ideal Candidate
Possess at least five years experience in BMS & Project Management
Hold relevant qualification in Building Services or Electrical Engineering (preferable, not essential)
Have full understanding and knowledge of HVAC Industry
Good at understanding technical drawings and specifications
Adequate professional conduct
Excellent communication skills
Proven problem-solving abilities
Ability to lead and motivate as part of a high-performing team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel, and Word
