Role Overview
As a BMS Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of BMS projects, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from design through to commissioning, testing, and handover. You will manage technical quality, support cost control and procurement, and contribute to financial reviews to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also provide guidance and support to junior engineers as part of the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical execution of BMS projects from design through to commissioning, testing, and handover
Engineer and commission BMS systems, assuring full functionality and compliance with project specifications
Liaise with various stakeholders, resolving technical issues while aligning project goals
Manage project cost control, procurement, and financial reviews
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams
The Ideal Candidate
Holds 3–5 years of experience in a BMS company
Possesses expertise in BMS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, and Siemens BMS
Demonstrate strong HVAC, electrical, and instrumentation knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, BACnet, Modbus, and MBus protocols
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects
