VIGO is recruiting on behalf of an innovative leader in the Smart Buildings sector, seeking a talented Building Management Systems (BMS) Service Engineer.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll take on a dynamic role, ensuring smooth functioning and optimisation of building control systems. You will contribute significantly to the realisation of energy-efficient, smart environments, pushing boundaries in resource management and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility for preventative and reactive BMS maintenance tasks
Identify and rectify faults, improving system performance
Customer liaison to ensure service satisfaction
Provide high-quality technical advice and support
Take part in standby rota as required
The Ideal Candidate
Relevant experience or qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Proven field service experience in BMS (Trend or Tridium is ideal)
Ability to problem-solve and work efficiently under pressure
Strong communication and customer service skills
Willingness to travel regionally
