
BMS Technical Account Manager
VIGO Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Building Management Systems (BMS) company in their search for a BMS Technical Account Manager to focus key accounts in London. This role is integral to driving the company's growth, forging strong client relationships, and expanding its footprint in the BMS sector. The position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for sales, a strong technical background, and experience in BMS. This role is all about nurturing existing relationships. Its a Hybrid role so you will be able to work from home, however due to the nature of the role you should be prepared to be in London at least 2 times per week.
Your Role
As the BMS Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for a portion of the companies accounts where you will develop existing relationships and identify upgrade opportunities. Working closely with the sales and technical teams, you will play a key role in further penetrating the company’s client base and increasing market share in London.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
Proactively nurture existing relationships. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets. Develop and present tailored proposals, quotes, and presentations to prospective clients.
Client Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with existing clients, acting as the key point of contact.
Understand client needs and provide solutions that align with their business objectives.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to close sales.
Market and Industry Insight:
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the BMS sector.
Provide feedback to the internal team to help shape the company’s product and service offerings.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with technical, project, and service teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
Report on sales activity, pipeline status, and market intelligence to senior management.
The Ideal Candidate
Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the BMS, HVAC, or energy optimisation sectors.
Strong understanding of BMS systems, ideally including Trend, Tridium, or Siemens.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively across the South West region.
A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.
