BMS Project Manager

VIGO Recruitment is partnering with a leading BMS company to hire an experienced BMS Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee the delivery of cutting-edge BMS projects, including high-profile installations and upgrades, whilst driving quality and innovation in the industry.

As a BMS Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Location wise most of the work is in and around the M25.

Your Role

In this crucial position, you will take ownership of multiple projects, leading teams and liaising with stakeholders to ensure successful project completion. Projects range in value between £100K and £500K.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial handover through to final delivery and sign-off.

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring adherence to scope and timelines.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.

• Facilitate regular progress meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote repeat business.

Team Coordination:

• Lead and manage teams of engineers, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all project teams.

• Provide guidance and expertise to technical staff as needed.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations, CDM requirements, and company quality standards.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the BMS, HVAC.

• Strong knowledge of BMS systems, particularly Trend, Tridium, or Siemens.

• Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Commercial acumen with experience in managing budgets and financial performance.

• A team player who can lead and motivate diverse teams.

• Familiarity with health and safety standards and project compliance requirements.

• A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
