
BEMS Business Development Manager
VIGO Recruitment is working with a leading BEMS provider to find an ambitious Business Development Manager to cover the North West region. If you're passionate about building strong client relationships, driving business growth, and have a background in Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Support Sales, this hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home, the regional office, and travel across Wales to engage with both new and existing clients.
Your Mission:
Generate new business by identifying and securing new customers while expanding opportunities with existing clients.
Develop and deliver compelling quotes for new services and contract uplifts, aligned with the company’s commercial standards.
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and emerging trends.
Create and execute strategic sales plans targeting businesses in need of energy management and BEMS solutions.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Present BEMS solutions clearly, articulating the value proposition to diverse stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions.
Achieve and exceed short-term revenue targets while establishing a foundation for long-term growth.
Provide regular sales performance reports, market insights, and customer feedback.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven track record in sales and business development.
Experience within BEMS, Building Management Services, Facilities Management, or a mechanical/electrical background is highly desirable.
Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with potential clients.
A natural closer with excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Sales-driven, customer-focused, and results-oriented.
Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.
Flexible approach to travel across the North West region.
Full UK driving licence required.
